The maintenance of the towplane is done in a workshop approved by the French authorities.
|
The club house is near the hangar on the south side of the runway of Moulins-Montbeugny airfield. There are an information desk, a training room, a leisure room and a camping area with all necessary facilities. The gliders are in the hangar at the southern side of the runway. The hangar was built in 1982, the training & leisure room in 1988 and the camping facilities in 1993. |

The training courses are organized on demand from June to September and are adapted to any level. In May, a training course is proposed in the Alps for mountain flights (ridge, waves...) in Saint-Auban.
Our 2 instructors have an instructor licence delivered by the French authorities.
They can take you for a first flight to enjoy silent flight, for a full course training or for cross-country training.
Flights are possible every day from July to August and during week-ends for the other part of the year. This is due to the meteorological conditions.
The cost of a flight is divided in 2 : the aerotow and the glider rental.
The aerotow costs 2.15 euro per 1/100 of an hour. A normal rate for a lift up to 500 m is 18 euros.

| The glider rental (2008 list): |
| - for beginners (not yet licenced !), there is an unlimited package for flight hours; |
| - for licenced pilots, the cost depends on the flight time and the type of glider (from 15 to 22 euros per hour). |
The yearly average cost for a beginner is 1400 euros and a "normal" licenced pilot 1700 euros.
